In this paper, several new simple criteria for nonsingular H-matrices are obtained by making use of elements of matrices only. Advantages are illustrated by numerical examples. And a necessary condition for nonsingular H-matrices is also presented.

Contributions to Nonsingular H -Matrices
H-matrices play an important role in solving linear systems and in many other fields. General conditions for the class of nonsingular H-matrices are not always easy to check in practice. Therefore, we give some more practical conditions concerning some subclasses of nonsingular H-matrices.

A complex matrix A is ray-nonsingular if det(X β’ A) / = 0 for every matrix X with positive entries. It is known that the order of a full ray-nonsingular matrix is at most 5 and examples of full n Γ n ray-nonsingular matrices for n = 2, 3, 4 exist. In this note, we describe a property of a special fu
We present best possible bounds for the number of coincidences of ones between two distinct rows of a nonsingular binary matrix of constant row sum. The lower bound is shown best possible by examples. We construct two classes of matrices that show the upper bound is best possible. ## RΓ©sumΓ© Nous
