Bekanntlich existiert das krystallisierte Corpus luteum-Hormon in zwei verschiedenen Formen mit den Schmelzpunkten 125" und 121 (unkorr.). Der hochschmelzende Stoff (bisher ,,compound B"I) oder ,,Luteosteron Cccz)) sol1 als a -P r o g e s t e r o n , der niedriger schmelzende Stoff (bisher ,,compound c"') oder ,,Luterosteron D"2)) als ,9-P r o g es t e r o n bezeichnet werden.

Wir hoffen, dass diese Namen allgemeine Anwendunq in der wissenschaftlichen Literatur finden werden.
