Triglycerides containing a s p i r i n i n place o f one o r more fatty acid residues have been synthesised. Glycerol, mono and d i palmitic acid glycerides were acylated with the acid chloride o f Lthe corresponding tri-, d i and mono-aspirin glycerides.
