✦ Synopsis
A new oribatid mite species, Acrogalumna brevisetosa sp. nov. is described from the eastern part of Mongolia. In addition, three known species of Galumnidae, Galumna rossica Sellnick, G. dimorpha Krivolutskaja and Angulogalumna asiatica Grishina, and a known species of Parakalummidae, Neoribates auriantiacus (Oudemans) are discussed, which have been recorded here for the first time in Mongolia.
