Blends of natural rubberwith different types of polyolefins and blends of nitrile rubberwith poly(viny1 chloride) have been vulcanized by different vulcanizing systems and at various vulcanizing conditions. The mechanical and thermooxidative properties of the products are tested and compared with each other. On base of the results the vulcanization mechanism is discussed.
