Studies have been made of the contraction of rollagen fibers in acetone due to the KO contraction occurs unless a small amount of water is added; on The first contraction is action of LiBr. further increase of the water concentration, the fibers relax. irreversible. The effect of water is discussed in terms of hydrate formation.
