## Abstract Recent models of plasmon localization and local electromagnetic (EM) field distribution in silver‐on‐glass films at the percolation threshold (Shalaev and collaborators) have successfully modelled the scanning near‐field optical microscopy (SNOM) pictures. The clearly visible so‐called
