Abstract
Using chlorpheniramine‐silicotungstate or chlorpheniramine‐ phosphotungstate ion‐pair complexes as active materials and graphite rods as substrates, all‐solid‐state chlorpheniramine ion‐selective electrodes were prepared. The effects of various factors on the performance of these electrodes were studied in detail. The electrodes exhibited a Nernstian range from 10^−2^‐10^−5^ M, with a slope of 58 mv/decade, and were much better than the previously reported PVC membrane chlorpheniramine ion‐selective electrodes Satisfactory results were obtained by using the prepared electrode to analyze chlorpheniramine containing samples.
