In 1453 Constantinople is the jewel of the east. The city has stood for a thousand years despite nearly constant invasions and sieges. Now the city is a mere shadow of its former self. The Eastern Roman Empire, now known as the Greek Empire has faded away. Emperor Constantine XI must beg for aid from the west to save his city one last time.
