The note by Watson [ 5 ] concerning the clinical similarity of Alzheimer disease (AD) and Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD) was of interest to us, as we have recently examined a patient with A D who had asymmetrical myoclonus of such large amplitude that it resembled hemiballism.
