✦ Synopsis

This article proposes a congestion control model for a wireless network. Wireless communications can cause congestion in a high-speed switching network depending on the volume of calls, their origination and the network architecture. In congested areas where wireless services are extensively used, the switching network can become congested. The proposed congestion control model allows for evaluation of these limitations and for choosing the best possible solution.
