"This is a 'win-win' situation for both p u m p manufacturers and their suppliers," said HI president and chairman of the Associate Member Task Group Patrick Thomas, EVP/COO Sundstrand Corporation. "Suppliers are critically important contributors to the present and future of our industry. They have something significant to offer HI and its members," he added.
Associate Members will be encouraged to serve on all technical standards d e v e l o p m e n t and operating committees and will have voting privileges. An Associate Member Council will be formed as their representative body and a m e m b e r of the council will serve on the HI Executive Committee.
