✦ Synopsis

Abstract

Band structure for the T, TG, G and TGTG' conformations of polyethylene are computed in the framework of the extended HΓΌckel method. Significant changes of the Cο£ΏC bands are observed in the density of states and could in principle be detected by an XPS experiment.

## Abstract The influence of zone drawing on bulk properties and structure of metallocene polyethylene (__m__‐PE) is reported. Two different __m__‐PE materials were subjected to tensile stresses above the yield point by zone drawing in the temperature range from 50 to 100Β°C. Drawn materials were ch

The ground-state band structure of polydiacetylenes is theoretically studied with the extensional Su-Schriffer-Heeger model supplemented by electron-electron interactions. The results show the following. First, the interval of valence bands (conduction bands) increases because of the electron-electr
