Abstract

Irradiation of (E,E)‐germacra‐1(10),4,7(11)‐triene 1 gives __intra__molecular reactions of the __endo__cyclic double bonds. Products can be correlated with the crossed and parallel conformation of the title compound and the parallel conformation of its (Z,Z)‐isomer 2.
