Abstract

As model peptides of collagen, (Pro‐Pro‐Gly)~n~ (n = 10, 12, 14, and 15) and (Pro‐Pro‐Gly)~n~(Ala‐Pro‐Gly)~m~(Pro‐Pro‐Gly)~n~ (2__n__ + m = 15; m = 1, 3, and 5) were synthesized by the solid‐phase method. The final products were pure when checked by high‐voltage paper electrophoresis and by amino acid analysis. Elemental composition was also examined.
