May I2-I 4, inclusive, held under the sponsorship of the Farm Chemurgic Council and The Chemical Foundation, at Detroit, Michigan. Approximately a thousand delegates were in attendance. The session attracted nationwide attention, representing a cross-section of the scientific, technical and executive interests of the country drawn together with the common purpose of creating and furthering new developments for products of the soil.

The two major subjects, if such can be selected, were power alcohol and sugar developments. Among the outstanding addresses were those by Heber J.
