The propagation of two light beams with orthogonal polarization in a nonlinear medium is considered. It is shown that because of the interaction of the beams there are two different self-focusing regimes: monotonous and oscillatory. Analytical results are confirmed by computer simulation.
The modifications of an angular spectrum of the intense Bessel J 0 and J 1 beams caused by self-action in the medium with large cubic nonlinearity are investigated. The appearance of an outer ring of triple radius was observed. The phenomenon can be explained as Bragg diffraction of Bessel beam on B
## Abstract The inner metric of general light cone in a BIANCHI type I geometry is determined. No focal surface can occur. The singularities which appear in the cosmological solutions of the EINSTEIN field equations at some past instant of time are shown to appear also as singularities of the inner
