✦ Synopsis
Conductance study of Ion-painng of potassium monoethyl ester of [a-(4&enzeneazoamhno)-Nbenzyl] phosphomc acid, [a-(4-benzeneazoamlmo)-N-4-hydroxybenzyl] phosphomc acid and [a-(-4benzeneazoamlmo)-N-4-methoxybenzyl]
phosphomc acid and then complexes with dlbenzo-18-crown-6 and dlbenzo-24-crown-8 m acetonltnle has been described The analysis of the conductance data was carried out using the Fuoss-Hsia conductance equation All compounds were found to be associated, and the trends m association are discussed m terms of the Size and charge density of the cation and Its counter amon, the polyether mteractlons with alkali cation which are controlled by their size, and the interaction forces of the solvent molecules on the lomc species present m solution
