## Abstract The kinetics of the reaction of the superoxide ion with ethyl acetate have been studied in DMF, AN, and their mixtures. It was shown that the rate constants depend on the ethyl acetate concentration, which indicates the formation of an intermediate in this process. Equilibrium constants

-Conductivities of tris(trimethylenediaine)cobalt(III), tr~s(propylenediamine)cobalt(III) and tris(cycIohexanediamine)cobalt(III) perchlorates in acetonitrile and N,N-dimethylformamide were studied, and the ion association constants of these complex cations with perchlorate ions were determined. The values of limiting molar conductivity of tris(alkylenediamine)cobalt(III) ions decrease with the increase in siz uf ligand in both lhe solvents. lon asocialion constants are gvxter in acelonilrile than in NJ-dimethylformamide for every perchlorate. In acetonitrile the ion association constants do not vary with the change of ligands, whereas in N,iV-dimethylformamide they decrease with the mcrease III size of hgand. NOBUYUKI TANAKA seems to be a reason why the effect of ligand is observed in DMF solutions.
