✦ Synopsis

This paper reviews some aspects of the hydrodynamics and heat transfer in a jet-impact spraying desalination pilot plant based on experimental data. It discusses certain particularities of regime vaporization of seawater in the vertical film evaporator with liquid spraying of a heat inner surface from the built-in tube spray with nozzle orifices. The equations for transfer of heat and velocity values of jet spilling with liquid were obtained.

Polycarboxyl type antiscalants in general have a tendency to become less effective in the presence of multi-valent metal ions such as Ca++ and MS++ in sea water. However, Kao's new antiscalant "AQUAKREEN KC-550" improved by the copolymerization technology, has much higher stability against such mult
