Longitudinal rectangular fins loosely clamped to vertical tubes markedly increase the film condensation heat transfer coefficient. At a heat flux of 2 X 104 B.t.u./hr.sq.ft., twelve 1/8 x 0.013 fins clamped to a '/i in. O.D. vertical tube 42% in. long (thus doubling the surface area of the tube) gav

## Abstract In this study, a prediction model for condensation heat transfer on a vertical dispersed finned surface was proposed, utilizing the AdamekβWebb model for condensation heat transfer outside a horizontal finned tube. The prediction model was based on two main experimental observation resu
