We calculate the fraction Cv of atoms in the ground state of liquid 4He for a fluid density of 0.023 atom/,~ 3 at various values of temperature and find a good fit with the law Cv(T) = CF(0)[1 --(T/T~)3], where T ~ is the transition temperature ; this law gives CF = 2.3 % at T -1.2 K, which agrees w
