## Abstract A method for assessment of toxicity of nonvolatile organic chemicals contaminants in groundwater polluted with landfill leachate has been evaluated. The biotests utilized were comprosed of an algal growth inhibition test (__Selenastrum capricornutum__), a daphnia immobilization test (__
