✦ Synopsis

We have studied the concentration fluctuations, S,..(O), in mixtures of hard convex particles. having the same shape but different sizes, within the scale parttcle theory. Our results show S,,(O) to be similar for mixtures of different convex particles. We argue that such behaviour in S,,(O) may be due to shortcomings in the scale particle theory.
