The way computers are used in education has changed over the years. The way their use has changed is parallel to the way the use of computers has changed in society at large. This is because institutional education is a part of society. Therefore, the most efficient method to try to understand how computers are going to be used in education in the next few years is to start from an analysis of how computers are used today in society at large.
