Ethnographic analyses of two organizations, a state university and a market research company, reveal that technologically sophisticated users involved in routine information-based activities across time and space barriers are best suited for Internet-delivered education. Content analyses of activity on the Web further shows that information systems disciplines or companies are most exploiting the Internet for education.
