## Abstract Blend membranes of poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) and sodium alginate (NaAlg) were prepared by solution casting and crosslinked with glutaraldehyde (GA). Polymer blend compatibility was studied in water by measuring solution viscosity at 30ยฐC. From the viscosity data, interaction parameters
