The paper presents the results concerned with the modelling and computer simulation of batch and continuous biotechnological processes. The problem of equivalence of different nonlinear continuous and batch fermentation models has been considered. The problem of recursive unmeasurable states recontr

β¦ Synopsis
In this paper, computer mcdelling of open punching processes of a cylindrical block is described. First, the deformation flow pattern in the workpiece is determined on an experimental basis because the plastic flow is unsteady, and then the mathematical model of the forming process is constructed by means of an upper bound approach. The computer modellinq is accomplished by using an IBM PC/XT mic:;&mg:.ter. For any forging made by an open punchin; procesr : tile computer, using the initial data and input parameters, can quickly and exactly plot the deformed configuration and the load-stroke curves. &ywords.Computer modelling; Upper-bound approach; Open punching.
