✦ Synopsis

A modified Romberg procedure for evaluating complex integrals is applied to the computation of the Schwarz-Christoffel transformation. An iterative procedure proposed by Wassmuth is used to determine the con&ants of the transformation forJlow past a polygonal boundary. The $0~ in a rectangular cavity and past a rectangular bump are computed. the the FIG. 4. Flow in stepped rectangular cavity.

The results of ¨arious quadrature rules suitable to compute the Schwarz᎐Christoffel formula are briefly discussed, and a formal integration rule is introduced for an important particular case, leading to compound quadrature procedures that are faster and more accurate than traditional ones.
