โœฆ Synopsis

The memory limitations of minicomputers which commonly restrict continuous analysis of electrical signs of neural activity were overcome by increasing throughput. A computer interface consisting of (I) a 35mm camera, (2) an oscilloscope, and (3) a photoelectric transducer permitted minicomputer-generated graphics to be recorded faster than data entry, thus allowing continuous analysis even with small core memories. Examples of multidimensional displays of spectral analysis and single unit wave forms are described.
