โœฆ Synopsis

A visualization method for quantum field theories based on the transfer matrix formalism is presented. It generates computer animations simulating the time evolution of complex physical systems subject to local Hamiltonians. The method may be used as a means of gaining insight to theories such as QCD, and as an educational tool in explaining high-energy physics.

Motivated by the study of ultraviolet properties of different versions of supergravities duality transformations at the quantum level are discussed. Using the background field method it is proven on shell quantum equivalence for several pairs of dual field theories known to be classically equivalent

Relativistic quantum fields can be classified according to the way they transform under Lorentz transformations. More specifically, they transform according to irreducible representations of the Lorentz group. The different representations give rise to particles with different values of the spin ang
