โœฆ Synopsis

A new software concept for an integrated computer-aided design procedure for injection-molded parts is presented. This software has been developed in close cooperation with the plastics industry and therefore takes into consideration, to a very high degree, requirements anking from practical use. The resulting program, named CADFORM, links commercial and newly developed plastics-specific so#- ware and thus enables all the steps involved in designing a new molding and the corresponding mold to be carried out within one program system.

The lighting engineer is faced with many problems when specifying floodlighting schemes, not least the large amount of computation required to evaluate each potential solution in terms of illuminance grids and isolux contours across the area of interest. Traditionally these kinds of evaluations have

## Abstract A new approach for controlling part cooling in plastic injection molding is developed using a PI controller and coolant flow rate as the manipulated variable. The method uses an average part surface temperature within the mold as the setpoint parameter. A mechatronic control system was

In this article, three computational models have been proposed to analyze the structure of gas-assisted injection-molded parts under external loads and constraints. Through comparison of numerical experiments, model II, which treats gas-assisted injection-molded parts as thin-walled hollow structure
