✦ Synopsis
Abstract
The paper discusses the generation of a family of neural models for spiral inductors and MIM capacitors, and their use in broadband nonlinear circuit optimization by evolutionary algorithms. It is shown that the resulting optimization process is fast and well behaved, and can achieve the same circuit performance produced by a design approach based on lumped passive components. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
