Nine patients with adult-onset acid maltase deficiency (Pompe's disease) were examined clinically and with computed tomography (CT). The CT scan showed early and severe involvement of the muscles of trunk and thighs, with selective sparing of the tensor fasciae latae, short head of biceps femoris, g

โฆ Synopsis
Abstract
Computed tomography (CT) scans of skeletal muscles of 3 patients with pseudohypertrophic muscular dystrophy are presented. Different patterns of muscle alterations and particualrly of pseudohypertrophy are described. The significance of the radiological findings for clinical examination, electromyography, and needle biopsy is discussed.

## Abstract A computed tomographic analysis of normal laryngeal anatomy was undertaken using cadaver larynxes. This was part of a larger project in which patients with laryngeal carcinoma were routinely evaluated in the computed tomographic (CT) body scanner. The appearance of normal laryngeal anat
