✦ Synopsis

The paper presents explicit formulae for calculation of surface moments for polytopes in R n . We describe also e cient algorithms for calculation of 3D body volume and surface moments. The algorithms are based on explicit formulae for moment calculation and take advantages of shape polygonal representation. They use only coordinates of the body vertices and faces orientation.
