✦ Synopsis
The analysis of electromagnetic scattering from a jet engine with complex termination is a ¨ery difficult task because the electrical size of the engine ca¨ity is ¨ery large and the geometry of the engine termination is ¨ery complex. In this paper, the shooting-and-bouncing ( ) rays SBR method is employed to analyze electromagnetic scattering from jet engines with complex termination. In order to accelerate the ray tracing and to economize the computation memory, the multiplaten z-buffer algorithm is employed to model the jet engine. Two jet engine models with complex termination are analyzed. Excellent results are obtained for the two models.
