Research Agenda: Computation and Visualization for the Understanding of Dynamics in Geographic Domains brings together leading researchers from multiple disciplines to discuss next-generation computation and visualization models used for interpreting geographic domains. This book is based on the workshop held by the University Consortium for Geographic Information Science. It demonstrates current uses of information technologies and elaborates on the need for further developments. It also addresses broad issues and challenges in such areas as spatiotemporal analysis and modeling, spatiotemporal visual analytics; spatiotemporal data mining, spatiotemporal reasoning, and spatiotemporal ontologies.
