AytacË & BasË er are endemic species in Turkey. Water-distilled essential oils from the ¯owering spike of these plants were analysed by GC±MS. b-Pinene (35%), 1,8-cineole (15%) and a-pinene (15%) were the main components in the oil of S. vuralii, while b-caryophyllene (8%) and caryophyllene oxide (7
