Matrix analysis of frames with shear wal
โœ B.K. Goyal; S.P. Sharma ๐Ÿ“‚ Article ๐Ÿ“… 1968 ๐Ÿ› Elsevier Science โš– 413 KB

The stiffness matrix approach has been used to solve frames with or without shear walls. In case of shear walls it is assumed that between the centre line and edge of the shear wall the beam is infinitely rigid. An experimental investigation has been conducted to test the validity of the assumption.

DYNAMIC ANALYSIS OF COUPLED SHEAR WALL-F
โœ D. Capuani; M. Merli; M. Savoia ๐Ÿ“‚ Article ๐Ÿ“… 1996 ๐Ÿ› Elsevier Science ๐ŸŒ English โš– 643 KB

In this paper, the dynamic behaviour of coupled shear wall-frame systems is analyzed. A continuum approach for coupled shear walls with any number of opening rows is used, accounting for shear strain effects in both solid walls and lintel beams. A finite element formulation based on hierarchical sha
