Sealing Technology 13 that has seal grooves on the outside and inside diameters. O-rings are fitted in the grooves and there may be two or three grooves each side, with additional groove providing for additional seals that, it is claimed, will provide improved sealing. The number of grooves can for instance be selected depending on the pressure to be sealed. The O-rings may be replaced by square rings or O-rings with lips. The grooves are designed to provide a snug fit for the O-rings to prevent them being removed under pressure with an extending portion to provide a seal. The holder is made from aluminium or a plastic.
