The synthesis of the hydrochlorides [22]aneN6.6 HCI and [26]aneN6.6 HCI has been described in [I 51. CuCI2.2 H 2 0 and CU(NO,)~ . 3 H,O were used as the sources of Cuz+. These salts and all other reagents were of anal. grade and used without further purification. The measurements were done at 25 & 0.1" (LSV and ESR experiments at -207, and the ionic strength was adjusted to I = 0.5 by KCl (ESR and LSV: KNO,).
