โฆ Synopsis
We report a case of sternal segment dislocation in a child. Although the segment was rotated 90 ยฐ it was completely remodeled. We now believe that no surgical treatment is necessary for this condition. Sternal skeletal injury is extremely rare in children because of the anatomical structure of the sternum [2, 3]. So far the literature has contained only four reports of sternal segment dislocation in children [1, 3-5].
