The complete assignments of 1H and 13C NMR data for a series of synthesized diosgenyl saponin analogs are described, viz. diosgenyl b-D-glucopyranoside (1), diosgenyl a-L-rhamnopyranosyl- 7). The assignments were achieved using homo-and heteronuclear two-dimensional NMR techniques.

Abstract
The characterization of four aryl diisoprenes was carried out by 1D‐ and 2D‐NMR methods, which permitted the assignment of the signals of all protons and all carbon atoms. Copyright © 2003 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.

In addition to 1D NMR methods and 2D shift-correlated NMR techniques (COSY and HETCOR), spin-spin simulation and MMX calculations, to obtain the minimum energy conformation structure, were used for the complete 1 H and 13 C NMR assignments of stephalic acid.
## Abstract ^1^H and ^13^C NMR studies were carried out on benzanthrone and 3‐, 4‐, 6‐, 8‐, 9‐, 10‐ and 11‐chlorobenzanthrone. Complete assignments of proton and carbon resonances were made with the aid of HH‐COSY, NOESY, CH‐COSY and HMBC techniques. Substitution effects of a chlorine atom are not
## Abstract Nine protopanaxatriol glycosides isolated from mild acid hydrolysis products of crude root saponins of __Panax notoginseng__ were identified as 20(R)‐ginsenoside‐Rh1, 20(S)‐ginsenoside‐Rh1, ginsenoside‐Rg1, ‐Re and ‐Rg2, notoginsenoside‐R2 and ‐R1, a mixture of 25‐hydroxy‐20(S)‐ginsenos
