The infrared multiple-photon decomposition of 1,2-d1chloro-1.2difluoroethane has been studled using time-resolved infrared ermssion. Vibratlonally excited parent molecules dlssoclate competitively via two channels to form viirat~onally excited HCI and HF. dependtng strongly on CO2 iaser fluence.
