## Abstract Loss of motor function in Parkinson's disease is due in part to degeneration of dopamine (DA) neurons. Pharmacological evidence suggests that the mitogen‐activated protein kinase signaling pathways involving extracellular signal‐regulated kinases (ERKs) play important roles in neuroprot
