✦ Synopsis

This work deals with a compatibility study of blends based on poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) by means of the determination of the polymer-polymer interaction parameter through two different and separated methods. Firstly, the well-known Flory-Hu ¨ggins interaction parameter was determined from melting point depression analysis and subsequently from T g measurements by applying an expression proposed by Kim and Burns.
