โฆ Synopsis
Industrial experiments often result in the production of various data, both continuous data as well as discrete data. Most of the time, practitioners use a normal analysis for continuous data and a logistic regression analysis for binary data. Taguchi (System of Experimental Design, Kraus International, New York, 1986) suggested that one use various signal-to-noise analyses when encountering different types of data. Engineers do not usually encounter Poisson data; however, in this paper a set of Poisson data is presented with three approaches to analyse the data set. Their comparison is also presented.

McNemar's test is often used to compare two proportions estimated from paired observations. We propose a method extending this to the case where the observations are sampled in clusters. The proposed method is simple to implement and makes no assumptions about the correlation structure. We conducted
This paper concerns the statistical analysis of certain binary data arising in molecular studies of cancer. In allelic-loss experiments, tumour cell genomes are analysed at informative molecular marker loci to identify deleted chromosomal regions. The resulting binary data are used to infer properti
