## Abstract Polikanov's perturbation method for the solution of the radial SchrΓΆdinger equation is shown to be equivalent to the usual Rayleigh‐SchrΓΆdinger method but with __full__ normalization instead of __intermediate__ noralization. The energy corrections are shown to be the same to all orders.
