We compare ab initio broad spectrum calculations of the K-edge X-ray absorption spectra of copper and molybdenum against accurate experimental measurements and tabulated standards on an absolute scale. Comparisons are also presented for the fine structure in the spectra.

The theoretical rates of the forward and backward ion-exchange reactions K+ + Na+-chabazite s Na+ + K+-chabazite have been calculated. In these calculations the concentration dependencies of O&, and Dg, the respective self-diffusion coefficients of sodium and potassium in (Na,K)chabazites, have been
