## Abstract In this paper, we propose the following modified NewtonโRaphson iteration formulation: In case __r__=1, the obtained formulation reduces to the NewtonโRaphson formulation. The present technique circumvent pitfalls of the NewtonโRaphson iteration method. Some examples are illustrated.
